Sashiko is a traditional Japanese Material originally made for judo uniforms. This piece uses a particularly iconic sashiko Material from BLUE BLUE JAPAN 's many sashiko series. It is sturdy yet soft, so it holds its shape well and maintains its beautiful form. This is honnai-honnai sashiko, carefully woven using the traditional Japanese method known as kasezome, in which the threads are dyed with indigo. Along with the indigo cotton Material used as a patch, you can enjoy the various changes in blue over time.
