- Healthknit was founded in 1900 as Standard Knitting Mills in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. Healthknit was born as an in-house brand of high-quality underknitwear. In the 1980s, the company began selling its garment-dyed Henley neck series. Available in over 20 colors, it remains a popular staple item to this day. Based on the peace of mind and trust it has built up over its long history of more than 120 years, the company continues to produce products that are focused on high quality, sophisticated style, and comfortable fit.
