BLUE BLUE JAPAN REWORK
Indigo dyeing, natural dyeing, and other handiwork are the foundation of "BLUE BLUE JAPAN". We have been fascinated by the deep hues and the way they are nurtured and changed by their owners, and have developed items using various techniques and methods over a long period of time.
The REWORK series is a special item in which a finished product is further processed and reworked into a new product.
This item is dyed with indigo dye after partially dyeing with batik dyeing.
The entire garment is hand-applied with a brush to create an irregular and dynamic pattern, then dried, and the same area is repeatedly waxed and dyed with indigo dye to create a deep hue.
Only the front mane and the cuffs are dyed without applying wax.
The dynamic pattern is finished with a calm atmosphere.
In order to dye the fabric many times in order to obtain a deep color,
To avoid the wax from coming off, the waxing must be done repeatedly.
Therefore, each process of waxing, dyeing, washing, and wax removal is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process.
BLUE BLUE JAPAN
The process began with the creation of indigo-centered goods that are sewn together by hand and give a sense of warmth.
We make comfortable and wearable items for many years with a focus on honnai dyeing, a traditional Japanese technique, using colors that remind us of the four seasons and Material and sticking to "made in Japan".
