- This is a special collection created to commemorate the JAPAN DORAKU event.
JAPAN DORAKU is a project that has been launched with the theme of "creating a bright future through the circulation of people and money" with the inheritance of Japan's traditions and culture as the main priority.
Seilin & Co. also resonated with the project and created a special collection under the original brand.
[Design]
This is a cotton twill gathered shirt dyed using the indigo dyeing technique called natural lye fermentation and indigo dyeing.
【Material】
We use cotton twill fabric with a nice atmosphere with a slight brush. We chose a fabric that was slightly thicker than regular shirt fabric, and also considered durability when worn for a long time and enjoying the color change.
It is indigo dyed with natural lye fermentation honnai dyeing. In the Edo period, the Sukumono competition used for indigo dyeing was used in the Aoichi market, and the first-class title of "Mizuichi" was used.
In order to protect 100% nature, we are particular about Material. In order to bring out the power of Material as it is, indigo dyeing, which is born from nature, uses only a limited Material of scoop, lye, slaked lime, Japan sake, and wheat gluten, and all processes are produced in the traditional way.
Even if you dye a light color, you will dye it over and over again, and gradually layer the color.
The blue, which changes its depth slightly depending on the quality of the indigo that year and the condition of the indigo on the day it is dyed, is not the same, but is one of a kind.
[detail ・Silhouette
It is based on an old French gathered shirt.
Older ones often have a longer length, but the width is extended and the length is shortened to create a balanced silhouette. The fabric is a little thicker than a typical shirt, but the gathers at the back body keep it roomy and easy to wear.
honnai The beautiful dyed blue adds color to a simple shirt.
