The upper is made of high-quality Japanese suede, the last recreates the sharp silhouette used in the 1980s, and the insole is made of rubber sponge for excellent cushioning and rebound.
The off-white tape and cotton shoelaces create a classic look. The "MADE IN JAPAN" lettering printed on the bottom of the heel label and the Converse logo in red on the insole, inspired by the Japanese flag, are iconic. Made in Japan with original carton specifications.
CONVERSE
Converse was founded in Massachusetts in 1908 as a manufacturer of athletic shoes, and has since become recognized worldwide as an iconic basketball shoe. The Chuck Taylor All Star, in particular, has been a symbol of sports and casual fashion since the 1920s.
