This jacket is a brushed-up version of "Noragi" (worker's clothing) to fit into modern life.
【Material】
It is made using skein-dyed honnai thread, and is characterized by subtle vertical unevenness. Double weaving on a dobby loom gives it thickness and elasticity without being heavy. By drying without using high temperatures in either the dyeing process or the weaving and finishing process of the fabric, it has a soft, fluffy texture. This original sashiko Material was created with the aim of achieving comfort, and has been a beloved staple for many years.
[detail and Silhouette]
Kimono, a traditional Japanese garment, is characterized by its straight-line construction. Unlike Western clothing, which is made three-dimensionally to fit the body, kimono are made flat and straight, and are designed to gently wrap around the wearer's body. The silhouette features relaxed shoulder and a sleek body width. The front features a chest pocket and a large waist pocket, positioned for easy access.
