This stand‐up collar jacket features striking thin frog buttons.
【Material】
The double-weave sashiko fabric is fluffy, just the right thickness, and soft. The expanded fibers trap air, making it excellent at retaining heat.
The sashiko portion is woven using two strands of 16 count thread, each made by twisting three strands together to make a thicker thread. Using threads of different thicknesses creates the textured texture that is unique to sashiko. After the off-white base is manufactured, each piece is dyed jet black by hand by artisans.
[detail and Silhouette]
It features a compact and beautiful silhouette and comfortable roominess. The sleeves are designed to allow for ease of movement and a good silhouette when worn. It is a handy piece to have as a staple in your wardrobe. Each piece is carefully dyed jet black by a historic Kyoto black dyer, resulting in virtually no color fading.
