- This is Grand Seiko's fifth generation model, commonly known as the "61GS," and is equipped with the first Japanese-made automatic 10-beat movement.
It is equipped with an automatic winding mechanism that successfully made Seiko's unique ratchet-type "Magic Lever" compatible with 36,000 vibrations per hour (10 vibrations per second). It features a simple and beautiful design called "Seiko style." This is a later model of the 61GS, with the 36,000 markings removed from the dial and three-dimensional indexes.
This watch, made in the 1970s, has been overhauled and repaired and fitted with a leather bracelet with a base made by Accurate Form.
