- sweat fabric is typical of HIGH! STANDARD created in collaboration with WALLA WALLA SPORT.
The outer fabric is a thick 13oz, with a completely unbrushed pile lining. We requested a slightly stronger ribbed hem so that length can be adjusted by folding it inside, and the shoulders are finished with raglan sleeve sleeves so that the fabric falls naturally. At first glance, it is an ordinary reverse weave sweat fabric with ribbing on both sides, but it is very rare to find a combination of thickness + pile lining + raglan sleeve, and it can be worn all year round.
The size remains the same as the inline model with a raw hem that has been popular over the past few seasons, but in addition to the hem, we have also changed the neck from a binder neck to a ribbed neck.
The unique three-dimensional look of the fabric standing up is something that can only be achieved with a thick sweat fabric, but if the lining is brushed, it can be a little hot in autumn and early spring, and since it puffs up around the arms, you'll have to choose carefully what to wear over it.
This sweat fabric is much lighter and easier to wear than it looks, and can be worn with any outerwear, making it perfect for Japan's current climate, where the four seasons are disappearing.

HIGH! STANDARD
HIGH! STANDARD opened in 1982, renovating a former foreign military doctor's house built in the early Showa period. At the time, they only sold MADE IN USA socks, but now they offer items that pursue USA basics, focusing on work, military, sports, and outdoor wear.
