- We created a large piece of chintz by patchworking madras check, a traditional Indian fabric.
Each piece is hand printed in India.
The size is large, approximately 260 cm x 180 cm, and hand printing of this size is currently very difficult to do in Japan.
This is an item unique to India, created using traditional printing techniques that are still used today.
The ink bleeding and print misalignment that are unique to handmade products add a special charm to these items, giving them a different appeal than digital prints.
It can be used as an interior accent with a powerful impact, from a bedspread to a wall hanging or even sticking on the ceiling.
