The blanket is made with a light mesh-like fabric called twill weave, with various indigo and deep blue fabrics layered on top, and a soft indigo gauze on the back. It is hand-stitched with white sashiko thread. Fabrics with different weaves and colors are combined so that you can enjoy watching the various indigo fabrics change over time within a single blanket.
